Position Summary

Supervises a team of agents that supports drivers by efficiently resolving emergency roadside repairs, maximizing equipment use, minimizing costs, and ensuring high customer satisfaction.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Supervises daily operations of the emergency roadside repair center, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Leads, mentors, and manages the roadside repair team using Key Performance Indicators to maintain high performance and foster professional growth.
  • Delivers timely and professional handling of all calls, providing excellent customer service and prioritizing urgent requests to minimize fleet downtime.
  • Maintains accurate records of repair activities, including orders and time spent, and prepares regular Key Performance Indicator reports.
  • Oversees the progress of all open repair orders from initial call to completion.
  • Reviews and finalizes repair orders to ensure accuracy and appropriate cost allocation.
  • Verifies and approves repair estimates exceeding breakdown coordinator limits.
  • Analyzes reports for operational improvements and develops strong vendor relationships to ensure high repair standards.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • 2+ years of transportation and call center experience.
  • Prior supervisory experience.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge of transportation management systems and Cisco Unified Communications.
