Position Summary

Directs and oversees maritime operations to optimize logistical strategies. Manages port operations to ensure profitable growth and efficiency for domestic and international maritime activities.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities

• Directs route planning, capacity management, and fleet utilization to optimize delivery times and control costs.
• Manages revenue and expenses for international ocean, international air, cross-border, and domestic drayage.
• Develops, implements, and tracks strategies for reducing costs and eliminating claims errors.
• Establishes systems and processes for measuring key performance indicators.
• Partners with sales teams to support international business growth.
• Negotiates and manages contractual relations with business partners.
• Oversees the cross-functional implementation of transportation management systems.
• Evaluates emerging trends, market dynamics, and competitive forces to inform strategic business decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
• 10+ years of international trade and global affairs experience.
• Proficiency in transportation management software.
