Position Summary

Supports the maintenance, repairs, and inspections of forklifts and other material handling equipment.

Major Tasks and Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoots, repairs, and rebuilds propane and diesel forklift engines.
  • Diagnoses failures and maintains all systems and parts associated with forklifts.
  • Uses hydraulic jacks to gain access to the underside of the units for maintenance and repairs.
  • Conducts regular inspections of forklifts to identify any issues.
  • Performs routine maintenance on forklifts such as oil changes, lubrication, filter replacement, and battery maintenance.
  • Monitor and manage parts inventory levels and supplies needed for maintenance and repairs.

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 5+ years of forklift experience.
  • Possesses an ASE master mechanic certification.       

Pay Rate: $28.75 - $33.25 per hour, based on experience
