Position Summary
Manages and develops sales and revenue activities for terminals within a geographical area. Drives revenue growth to exceed financial objectives and performance metrics.
Major Tasks and Responsibilities
- Directs and supports business partners in identifying and securing revenue.
- Provides continuous coaching and development of new and existing employees.
- Forecasts and anticipates client and market opportunities and responds appropriately.
- Builds an optimized structure to exceed performance metrics.
- Secures strategic level relationships with business partners.
- Collaborates with cross functional teams on forecasts, account activities, and territory strategies.
- Maintains the organization's leadership position in the transportation industry.
- Identifies areas of improvement to programs and methods to maximize sales.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.
- 5+ years of sales experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
